A Year of Growth, Graft and Good Stories: My 2025 Round-Up
Can you believe we’re wrapping up 2025 already? I swear it was March about five minutes ago. It’s been a year full of graft, good humour, unexpected challenges, and plenty of moments that reminded me why I love what we do at Revelare.
So grab a coffee (or something stronger, no judgement here) and join me for a look back on a brilliant year and a peek at what we’ve got brewing for 2026.
Growing the Team (…and my calendar)
2025 was the year we realised Revelare was getting bigger, busier, and bolder and that we needed more hands on deck to keep up.
Kirsty Smith, Social Media & Content Executive
Kirsty joined us at the start of the year, and I’ll be honest: having actual marketing in-house has been life-changing. For years we’ve said, “We should really post more of our work…” and now, shockingly, we actually do. Kirsty brings experience from both agency and in-house roles, and she’s already helping more people discover what Revelare can do, which is great, because we’ve got plenty to show off.
Craig Harmer, Production Leader
In Q3 we welcomed Craig, who arrived armed with 20+ years of experience, boundless enthusiasm, and a knack for spotting things in the workshop before anyone else does. As our operation has grown, we’ve needed someone who lives and breathes production, and Craig has made an immediate impact with our artisans.
Christian Woodham, Finance Assistant
And most recently, Christian joined us as our in-house number-whisperer. Having finance under one roof has already helped us sharpen our processes and keep pace with growth. Together, these three have strengthened Revelare in all the right ways and made 2025 a far smoother ride than it otherwise would’ve been.
My Highlights of 2025
We’ve tackled everything from huge architectural features to intricate detailing and you’ll spot many of these on our projects page.
Here are a few of the moments that really stuck with me:
Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester – Liquid Metal on Site
Nothing beats being on site with the full team, sleeves rolled up, seeing a project come to life in real time. Earlier this year we were in Manchester applying liquid metal externally and nearly a year later, we got fantastic feedback confirming it still looks as striking as day one. That’s the kind of message that makes all the early mornings worth it.
Ipswich Town F.C. – Liquid Metal Crest
On the opposite end of the scale, one of my favourites was a small but mighty project: the Ipswich Town F.C. crest. A brilliant opportunity to blend craft and technology with 3D-printed elements, precise detailing, and a liquid metal finish that carries the history of the club. The final piece looked like it had been part of the stadium forever.
Future Space, Cambridge – Workshop & Biophilic Design
This one was a standout for the whole team. We ran an interactive workshop, letting designers and architects get hands-on with liquid metal and see the material’s flexibility up close. We also explored how our finishes support Biophilic Design principles, something I know will continue influencing architecture and interiors in the years ahead. It was a big day, a lot of prep, and an even bigger success.
Looking Ahead to 2026
If 2025 was about growing and refining, 2026 is shaping up to be about expanding our reach.
We’re already lined up for early-year installations, including an on-site project in London, and we expect our global footprint to keep growing as more designers look for sustainable, artisan-crafted metal finishes. We’ll also be adding more talent to our team, because the demand (and ambition!) is only increasing.
To all our clients, collaborators, and supporters: Thank you for trusting us, challenging us, and keeping us inspired throughout 2025. Your ideas push us forward and your projects bring out the best in our team.
